Lotus Biscoff Spread launches in Ireland – liven up snack time!

lotus biscoff spreadSo I was sent these Lotus Biscoff spreads last week but they sat there for a while as I didn’t have time to use them. They looked like peanut butter too, which I don’t like so was pleasantly surprised when I eventually read the info to see that they were spreads made from their Lotus caramel biscuits….yes, like them ones you get in fancy places with your coffee 🙂

  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • No added flavours
  • No hydrogenated fat
  • No artificial colours

Lotus Biscoff on toast and biscuits

I really love this spread so much so I’ve often made my self feel sick because it’s quite sweet and easy to go overboard with! There’s a smooth version and a crunchy version but I prefer the smooth.

The possibilities are endless with this! Use as a spread on your morning toast, on the Lotus biscuits themselves, on cupcakes or melted on ice cream or porridge.

And I’ve just had a brain wave!!! I love banoffee pie so I’m thinking mini ones…….sliced banana in between two Lotus biscuits with the biscuit spread and some cream…..mmmmmm, I’ll have to try that some day hehe!!!

I feel like this going to be one of my top go to comfort foods this winter…I don’t even want to know how many calories are in a tablespoon of this!

The new spreads have just launched in Dunnes Stores Ireland after being a huge hit in the UK! They are currently on promotion at €2 which is great so if you have a sweet tooth and are looking for something different these are worth a go!

Dying to know if any of you have tried this biscuit spread yet? Yaz x
