Glossybox Contents – June 2014

You may have seen yesterday on some on some of my social media posts that I got the June Glossybox yesterday and was very very happy with it this month! This month had a summer theme so had some things to help ‘channel your summer beauty in one easy step’

So so happy with this months @glossyboxuk I go...

Here’s what I got

  • Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix
  • Teeez Trend Cosmetics Flat Stiff Eye Brush
  • So Susan Cosmetics Universal Blush
  • got2b Rise ‘n’ Shine Hair SoufflĂ©
  • QV Skincare Skin Lotion

The first thing I tried was the CC Eye Fix creme or as I would simply call it – a concealer 🙂 It says in the description ”This refreshing eye cream and concealer in one combines oat extract with light diffusing pigments to brighten and lift the appearance of your eye area. It is also infused with beeswax to aid the protection of delicate skin”
I was prety much sold after reading that! It really does feel light and fresh when applied under the eyes, it blends well and isn’t cakey so I love the texture. Only problem is I got the light shade and think it’s just a bit too light for my olive skin. I think I’ll try it out in the medium shade as I love that this is like an anti wrinkle cream too, it’s very moisturising  and not drying which can only be good. If anyone has given this a proper go or has a review please direct me or tell me what you think!? 🙂nip + fab cc eye fix light swatch concealer

Next is the eye brush from Teeez Trend Cosmetics who I’ve honestly never heard of but wow isn’t the packaging and design on the brush handle gorgeous! So unusual and pretty! It feels a bit harsh but it might soften up after a wash. Its says its made from 100% natural hair, I’d love to know what kind of hair but can’t seem to find out online.teeez trendy cosmetics brush

So Susan Cosmetics is another new brand to me but I already love the packaging and philosophy. Founder Susan wanted to create make up that acted like skin care….something that’s so important to me. So each make up product actually has added skincare benefits too. I haven’t tried the Universal Blush on me yet but from swathing it feels really silky smooth with great colour pay off. It contains Buriti Fruit Oil repair and protect the dermis and improve skins elasticity! Nice!so susan cosmetics universal blush

got2b by Schwartzkopf I know is a good hair care brand so I was happy to see this. This strange looking hair product is their Rise ‘n’ Shine hair SoufflĂ© which claims to give ‘textured volume and silky shine’ I’ve just tried a bit and it feels like a texturising paste in my hair? Might be better on short hair or just at the roots!got2b rise n shine hair soufflĂ©

Finally is the Ego QV skin lotion. Again this is another brand I don’t recall knowing but I love getting skin lotions as I go through a lot! This one is for eczema and other dry skin conditions so it’s soothing and sort of feels like it leaves a light barrier to protect your skin. Wouldn’t be something I would buy again but I like these little tubes for popping in my handbag and using for dry knees, elbows and hands in the summer.

Overall I’m very happy as I’ve found some new brands and products to look into. Very excited to use the blush and eye brush properly 🙂 You can get Glossybox here for ÂŁ10 plus p&p on a month to month basis or get a better deal by getting a 3/6/12 months subscription.

Anyone like to share what you got this month in your Glossybox? Yaz x
