No particular order, just a mix of some of the latest kids and adults shows on Netflix. Some we’ve seen, some are still on our watch list!
Joy
This is a nice feel-good movie, funny with some drama. Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.
Annie
2014 version of this classic musical.
Everything Sucks!
”A quirky, funny coming of age story that follows two groups of high school misfits, Everything Sucks! follows an A/V club and a Drama club who collide in 1996 Oregon.”
Llama Llama
Yay, a new kids tv show. Seems really cute. It’s Llama’s like how can it not be cute!
The BFG
2016 version of this Roald Dahl classic, can be a bit scary at parts for the younger ones so do consider that or make sure you watch with them if tehy tend to get a bit scared at the ‘monster’ type movies. We seen it in the cinema so maybe it just seemed louder and scarier for the kids.
Trolls: The Beat Goes On
Musical comedy series featuring The Trolls!
The Peanuts Movie
Charlie Brown & Snoopy!
F•R•I•E•N•D•S
Ahhhh, can’t wait to binge watch this. 10 seasons….that’s 236 episodes!! Also looking at it with fresh eyes knowing Ross is actually a big jerk is gonna be either fun or ruin it 😯
Altered Carbon
This sounds interesting if you like sci-fi or futuristic type series.
”Altered Carbon is an intriguing story of murder, love, sex, and betrayal, set more than 300 years in the future. Society has been transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent.”
By the Sea
This is a movie that Angelina Jolie directed and it stars both herself and her ex-hubby Brad Pitt. It was a strange one. They play the role of a broken couple and it basically follows them spying on a newlywed couple next door. It was just odd, the little storyline to it was slow and dragged out.
Out in the sticks here we just got fiber-bb – Ohhh the opulence!!!
Our two older teenagers watch Friends – dodgy at moments – lots of liberal cavorting.
They also watch “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”.
The two of them just do ’80’s sitcom’s for some reason – no interest in more modern content.
Our younger girl has watched 100’s of hours of “Heartland” ie ponies, moutaches, long hair and outsized hats. She loves it.
