I love a good gadget, especially beauty gadgets! So of course when I saw this new hair removal gadget by JML I was intrigued. I did some research and the reviews looked good so I got it last month. I’ve tried another facial hair remover from JML before and found it good so my hopes were high on this one.
JML Finishing Touch Flawless Facial Hair Remover
Like most people, I have fluffy baby hairs on my face. I have dark hair and sort of pale skin so they show up more. Nothing wrong with facial hair at all mind you. just some people prefer them gone, like myself, as I find my makeup goes on better and I just like it.
It has an 18 carrot gold head which apparently means less irritation and red bumps as it’s hypoallergenic. Also, the gold makes it look very fancy. There is also a built-in light so you can see tiny little hairs better. while using it. It takes 1 AA battery and the whole thing fits in the palm of your had. It’s about 5 inches long so fits nicely in a makeup bag or handbag. It’s also light but not so light that there is no weight and feels flimsy. It’s fairly sturdy.
Does it work?
Yep and I’m sold! I tried it on the hairs on my upper lip first (yes my moustache, ok :D) and it removed the hairs quickly and painlessly. I was expecting pain for some reason but didn’t feel a thing. The area looked and felt really smooth, like that just waxed feeling. No rash or sore bumps like you get with hair removal cream.
I also ran the gadget over the sides of my face to get those little hairs and it worked perfectly on those too. When you’re finished you twist the circle head off and with the brush included you brush out the hairs collected, it just gathers like fluff/dust.
I’m really happy with how well it removes hair and the finish it gives. No redness or bumps so I’ve Literally no complaints after using it a month now. Also, hair growth is grand, it doesn’t grow back thick or anything. Grows back soft as it would if waxed.
I got mine in Boots at one of their JML stands for €24.99. Loads of other places do them too like Tesco, Littlewoods and Amazon. You can also buy replacement heads which is great.
