There is nothing better than buying a loved one a gift,I love making loved ones happy with a nice gift at Christmas. What I love even more is buying a gift that is also helping charity.
Every year The Body Shop donate money to a charity or organisation from each specially marked gift. Last year’s chosen charity was War Child where they helped children affected by war still get their education.
This year the organisation they have partnered up with is Water Aid.
For every Christmas gift bought at The Body Shop they will donate money from the purchase to give enough clean water to a family for a day.We take water for granted when some places don;t have clean water for miles. So in this case if everyone bought one present from The Body SHop this year it will help so many families of families
In fact The Body Shop have said they will help provide 3.65 million days of safe water, assisting 1,000 families with access to safe water over the next 10 years – making a huge difference.
That is a huge help to families in developing countries.. So if you would like to help, buy a friend or family member a gift from The Body Shop this year, make them and you feel good in the process. And as always all their products are animal cruelty free and many of the ingredients are fair trade.
They have a new collection to celebrate as always, this year the scent is frosted plum. It very sweet and fresh and all the products come in gorgeous purple packaging with the products themselves being pretty purple shades, some are shimmery too! There are bath fizzers, hand cream, lip balm and even a beautiful shimmer mist included in the range. If lotions and potions isn’t what you’re after they also some gorgeous new eyeshadow palettes, festive nail polishes and best of all candles, you can’t go wrong with candles! Just make sure whatever it is you’re getting has a sticker so you know it is part f the Water Aid ones as I know only some are. I’m pretty sure anything that says XMAS15 on the website is included though.
Also they have 2 Christmas advent calendars this year. Both have 24 little boxes to pen just one is dearer than the other so it’s nice they have two price points AT €99 & €130.
So for the person in your life who loves there cosmetics The Body Shop is well worth going to especially since it’s helping a great organisation like Water Aid too.
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’m almost done thankfully! Yaz x
